The Saint Lô Stallion Show was a great success and our stallions have made a strong impression!
We have shown no less than 25 stallions this year. The Top 5 most popular stallions were leaded by UNTOUCHABLE, followed by SCUDERIA 1918 HALIFAX VAN HET KLUIZEBOS, UP TO YOU, the newcomer CHAPLIN and our young stallions ITOKI DE RIVERLAND and JOKER D'EUSKADI.
In the Stallion Masters, the young stallions took 3 podiums:
KABRI DU MARAIS finished 3rd in the 4-year-old class,
JOKER D'EUSKADI was 3rd in the 5-year-old class, followed by JET DES FORETS 4th and
ITOKI DE RIVERLAND who brilliantly won the 6-year-old class.
In the Grand Match, MACHO MAN was 2nd, followed by GWENNDU DE KERGANE and HELIOS D'HELBY, all three having three clear rounds.
One of the highlights of the show was the farewell to sport ceremony for EXCALIBUR DL TOUR VIDAL, who excelled at the highest level with his riders Pénélope Leprevost and Ramatou Ouedraogo and who was the pride of his breeders Paule and Jean Louis Bourdy Dubois. He is now focus on his stallion career.
Among the stallions that particularly attracted the attention of breeders were the charismatic CHAPLIN and CANDY DE NANTUEL, CAMARGO, APARDI, SILVER DEUX DE VIRTON, JILBERT V'T RUYTERSHOF, PETRUS DE BRANDEGEM, HOKKAIDO DE MENJO, JAGGER DE MARIGNY, SUSPENS FLOREVAL, CHACGRANO, CONSUL DL VIE and UP TO YOU, as well as FALKO DE HUS and EDEN DU ROUET, presented under the saddle of their rider F.X Boudant.
GIOVANI DE LA POMME closed the show in style.
