SCUDERIA 1918 HALIFAX VAN HET KLUZEBOS made his official farewell to the sport onhis field : the legendary Piazza di Siena in Rome.. The emotion was present last Saturday when HALIFAX and his rider Lorenzo De Luca met up for the last time.
The world number #1 had won the Grand Prix in Rome in 2018, earning his nickname "The King of Rome" in Italy.
Many fans came to say goodbye to HALIFAX during the ceremony when his former rider Lorenzo said a few words to him: "Thank you for letting me be a part of your exuberance, your will to win, and thank you for proving to everyone that you are the best horse a rider could wish to ride.
Thank you because You are a true champion, always have been, and I am honored to have been a part of your competitive career and your growth. Now enjoy your well-deserved rest. You will always be in my heart".
